Finance & Governance

We are governed by our Management Committee and Trustees who are responsible for the governance, management, conduct and day to day running of the charity.

We have one salaried Stable Manager: the workforce of Volunteers currently numbers 100, supporting 140 riders. Our outdoor arena is part of a purpose-built stable complex. The 11 horses and ponies live out in well managed paddocks and are only stabled during their working hours, or for box rest.

Our operations cost approximately £80,000 a year. We generate roughly £20,000 through lesson fees.  Sponsor a Pony, Tea With a Pony, the 100 Club, legacies, grants and the efforts of the Fund Raising Committee add to the bank balance and allow us to continue offering this therapy to all people living with a disability in our area.
